Ophir definition 1: a port or region mentioned in the Bible, famous for its wealth. King Solomon received a cargo from Ophir every three years,{1 Kings 10:22} which consisted of gold, silver, sandalwood, pearls, ivory, apes, and peacocks. It is not know where or what exactly Ophir is.
Ophir definition 2: a former bustling gold rush town in Colorado
Ophir definition 3: (In Game) a mining surveyor ship that crashed on the planet while investigating the rich chemical deposits in the region. The cause of the crash is unknown but their reports did get sent back and the entire system subsequently acquired the name of the ship. A later mining colony ship established the first refinement plant near the vicinity of the crash.
